    AMZN - Zero Focus

AMZN is behaving like bozo colleague, students, employees that want signs up for all kind of projects, but can never get any given project right or done properly.

Retail, streaming, hardware, warehousing, clouds, movie making...pheew...anything else?

Look at WMT, a singular focus on RETAIL, RETAIL, RETAIL and see where WMT is today...some 460B in revenues, a healthy profit, and a dividend.

    What has AMZN actually accomplished?

You really want to trust these folks with your money?

    Sentiment: Strong Sell

    • You can synthesize the bull case as this. Amazon is effectively engaged in predatory pricing which, at this juncture, DOJ isn't doing anything about (and shareholders are content to allow since they are actually making their money on trading/float jam manipulation by scalping options and churning shorts and put buyers). It will knock out all of its competitors and then raise prices to increase the earnings and bring the valuation down to stratospheric from parallel universe levels...

The funny this is that IF Amazon succeeds, it will face anti-trust scrutiny all over the place -- way more than Google or Microsoft did (as it will have created a much larger population of enemies, from Main Street retail to tech titans that will fund Main Street retail as the face of the complaint).

The more likely case is that Amazon will no longer be able to hide the true cost and profit drivers and longs will bail en masse, no longer allowing it to knock competitors out of business by selling products (at least some of them) below fully loaded cost.
