Put yourself in the position of one of the major institutional holders. For the sake of argument, let's say that there was an event that caused AMZN's story to change from rev growth to more fundamental analysis. How would you get out of the position if you owned a couple billion $$$ worth of the stock.
If I were one of the managers, this would keep me up at night.

Fund managez sleep just fine in their stone castlez. Its not their money at risk. Its other peoplez money in the fundz propped up by bernankez bond bubble of public finance. If sybs was one of theze guyz , sybs would put an 8 ball of quality sheit up sybs nose, fvck a hottie in front of the library room fire place and laugh sybs ars off.... Thats probably a more realistic picture of what iz going on.
I just don't get it Sybil... These guys have so many shares, that if a couple of them decided to liquidate as a result of a negative surprise, they'd tank the stock.
What would be the consequence to them? They might be living like kings now, but if any of them flushed a few billion down the toilet, I'm sure they'd be fired. And bye-bye lifestyle
The little fat gopher, after sleeping in all day Monday, pokes his head out of the hole first thing Tuesday morning but loses his footing and slips all the way down the stairs...only the weekend stops his fall. The following week he makes his way back only to meet Delsol's hammer Tuesday afternoon. After Tuesday Naz will do his best Ray Lewis impersonation and will never he heard from again. - Pj
