State of New York Selects Larscom as a Primary Supplier of Network Access Equipment
Larscom Network Access Products to Provide Greater Efficiency and Service Variety to Statewide Agencies
MILPITAS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 19, 1999-- Larscom Incorporated (Nasdaq:LARS - news) today announced that the State of New York Office of General Services (OGS) has signed a comprehensive contract with the company to be a primary supplier of network access equipment for the State's growing high-speed data communications networks.
Larscom's cost-effective, high-performance equipment transforms copper wire local loops into high speed digital networks, providing greater efficiency and expanded services to state agencies.
The two-year agreement (group award number 77026-3600) covers networking hardware, upgrades, maintenance, training, and consulting, all of which is available to all New York state agencies, governments and authorities including universities, hospitals, police departments, libraries, and local school systems. Larscom has chosen Annese & Associates of Herkimer, New York to administer the contract exclusively.
