Longs here have to be honest

with themselves. If the COO was no good to begin
with why was he hired by Bezos. If the COO was no
longer needed then Bezos should have given him the
    axe.

    So, which is it?

    Was Bezos wrong for keeping
    the COO on?

Was Bezos wrong for hiring him to
    begin with?

Is Bezos wrong now for thinking that
AMZN is not in trouble? (This event makes me think the
    COO thought they were.)

    Anyway you slice it
Bezos made a mistake. Either he hired the wrong guy and
didn't know it or he hired the wrong guy and knew it but
was afraid to do anything lest it disturb AMZN's
turbulent stock price. If he was wrong about that then he
could be wrong about everything -couldn't
    he?

Slowly we are seeing the de-mystification of Bezos and
as AMZN is more scrutinized he will be too. His
mistakes will be magnified 100 times over until investors
slowly realize that he is wrong about his entire
    business model.
