    Mr. O on Letterman

The Letterman crowd seemed split between Mitt and Obama.

That is a excellent sign for Mitt. So an excellent sign for economical viable American energy and therefore the American economy.

      • Real investors take in all information. It is simply insane the OLB runs around a natural gas board claiming there is no difference.

The rigs have moved off natural gas. Why? Prices went down due to a surfeit. Why surfeit? Simply because business did make the $100s of billion dollars in capital investment to fully take advantage of the world beating lowest cost energy. Why? Simply because Obama policy is clear hostile to fracturing threatening the supply and likely hostile EPA regulations on plants.

After all as a business person we just saw Obama destroy domestic coal and a media refuse to tell the truth about his policy agenda. Would I make a $10 billion investment in a plant to convert natural gas to a form our economy can use in this environment? No. This is how we got to $2.5 trillion on corporate balance sheets.

Heck Obama did not even allow the safety valve of natural gas export to keep our natural gas assets and resources in production. The investment in dry natural gas infrastructure is in no small portion atrophying.

Even the electricity market is thrown into chaos. Natural gas is artificially cheap but areas with coal plants are closing them due to dishonest regulation and the waste of perfectly good capital investment must be thrown away. As it is a regulated business customers must pay the cost.

Romney has a mandate to focus on jobs. Given all the fear and distortion Obama irrationality has caused in our economy it is no a difficult mission to do much better.
