Jack suckered people into OXF before he cut and ran
Jack was touting OXF quite agressively with his stories of how the distribution was watertight. Likely he suckered some naive investors into buying. Now they cut the distribution over 50% and we don't know the market reaction till it resumes trading. Of course, Jack dumped his OXF units some time ago leaving his gullible followers holding the bag.
You missed the point. They just cut the distribution more than 50%.
Thus your 16% yield only lasts until the finance quote providers update their data.
The 16% yield is based on last quarter's distribution which has just been slashed.
Anyone who followed Jack's advice probably lose their shirts.
