YES! BUt given the tax advantages it is still better in a taxable account.
That's ezactly why they created LNCO-so you could own it without all the tax #$%$ involved in owning an MLP in an IRA.
I don't see why not. There's no UBTI to be considered and the company pays dividends that get reported on a 1099 rather than a K-1, so it functions like any other corporation.
