I don't usually buy stocks at their 52-wk. highs, so I wouldn't buy it today. I also "generally" look for higher yields, which WNR doesn't have. Not to say it's a bad company (obviously not since it#$%$ new highs), but with investments already in refining with ALDW and CVRR, I'd likely pass on it.
Here is the thing about WNR they are a possible TO and they maynot carry a big divie the SP makes up very well for that lacking. I own it back in the mid 20's and will let it ride. No one likes to byu at the high. So a pullback is always one to watch for. You want a stick that moves then Both CVRR and WNR are great. 1 with a great divie the other with a moving SP
