That every american person. Take their semi automatic pistals and rifles detroy them or turn them in. There is no need for any person to own such a gun. With what just happened and in the past assualt rifles have been at the fore front of all of this maheim. Gun shops should be disallowed in selling such destructive and life taking guns. Why should there be more gun shops then McDonalds? This country has the second amendment which is fine that all persons have the right to bare arms and protect ones self. But semi automatic guns should be outlawed. This country leeds the world in people being killed by guns. Especially semi auto guins. When will we ever learn.
That is all i want fot Christmas.
So we have 4 down thimbs. That say keep semi auto guns in society so they can kill more people.
Interesting that people would agree to killing our own people faster with these types of guns that fall into bad hands. Yea more clips more bulletts more deaths. yipppppppppppppeeeeeeeeeee you clowns. Why do you 4 need semi autos for protection? When a pistol would be just fine. Remember this is for protection not killing. Do hunters use semi auto guns for hunting. Nope they sure don't So why do you 4 knukle heads need them?
I think you better learn a few facts before engaging your senseless opinions. "Do hunters use semi auto guns for hunting?" The #1 selling hunting rifle sold in the US is the AR-15. Is it semi auto? Yes! Do you even know what semi auto means? It means when you pull the trigger you fire 1 shot and the gun ejects the spent cartridge. While you're at it, brush up on your spelling & grammar so you don't continue to advertise your ignorance to the world.
When this country started the average american had the weapon they used in all militias. It was scaled down to semi auto as automatic weapons were outlawed in the 1930's.You cannot legislate prevention of ones frame of mind.We need to study mental illness. The majority of law abiding citizens in this country want to keep their guns.

I'm afraid that this is a myth. Back in the 1700's and early 1800s guns were not production weapons but carefully hand made, one at a time, and very expensive. It would have been most unusual for the average farmer in our mostly agricultural nation to be able to afford a gun. Once mass production became feasible, prices dropped significantly and more folks could hunt, depending less on trapping for red meat.
