The Book about Linn Energy....what chapters?

I think it sounds like a very nice idea.

    What chapters might there be?

Historical Linn growth that beat the Alerian index since Linn went public in 2006.

How Linn is the "best in the business" when it comes to hedging.

Exactly how Linn energy hedges that allows for added profit while remaining 100% hedged....a pretty neat strategy once you actually understand it.

The 2011 major shift toward Hogshooter OIL from the Granite wash....and the great results.

The move into the BAKKEN and the strategic entry into the basin and the 3 acquisitions there.

The Bakken production and how Linn uses some of the best operators in the basin for the Linn's non-operated wells....and who they are.

The strategic move into the Permian basin and the 14 acquisitions there.

What other chapters shoul we consider?

Maybe I will write the book about Linn Energy when I get the time, maybe with the help of Jack or Clay?

      • oh....so you do plan on writing it?

Great, I can't wait to comment on the chapter headings. When might you have a list?

This is what I considered so far but I can't decide on a few more that I will list way below.

        So.....What chapters might there be?

        How about these also?

The Huogton field and all details about the purchases from BP that you need to know.

The adventure into CO2 enhanced oil recovery and the inside scoop on the Salt Creek/Anadarko deal and WHY it is important to LINN for the Permian Basin, The Williston basin, and the Hogshooter?

The Jonah Field acquisition....another huge strategic entry into the vast reserves of WY & the green river basin...another Linn deal from BP.

So what are your chapter headings?

        Or,
are you just still thinking about whether or not you are able to write a book?

    • You have been writing your book ever sence you started posting. Except each chapter is a repeat

Yawn boring.............Don't leave out how they hedge.
