A possible explanation is a dark pool trade. Volume traded in dark pools is huge and not recorded by exchanges doing retail trades.

Its that UBS trade or SPO. Any thing else would not drop price this much.

Block trades of that size usually go thru "Dark Pools" and are trickled into the Market, there are not requirements for reporting with Dark Pool transaction (yet), so when and who are difficult to determine ...

So I guess they are selling out their entire position. Wonder who's buying?

I suppose UBS has to come up with $1.5 billion somehow. This would be a start (unless they've already sold some other investments). Little do people know about block trades (they don't show up on pre- or post- market trading systems) because they aren't conducted on those exchanges. But don't tell SOB or Norris that.

Did you look at the premarket trades.......so, where is it?

So I guess (just a guess) that since the poster has a message history all of six posts.....
that someone just made that story up....Hmmmm?
Any idea as to who that might be?
