    So Hugo Chavez croaked

Wonder if Venezuela gov will start putting money back into their oil commodity. Will the next one be any better towards us? Guess we really don't need them anymore with all the oil discoveries in our country. Might effect the world oil prices but since he was not putting much cake into his oil infrastructure it shouldn't matter. But i am sure the speculators will blow this up.

    • mixed bag, I guess. All I hear is what #$%$ quality oil Venezuela has... and that it is not in big demand anyway. Very interesting. Any other thoughts?

    • Critical lesion for Americans of the end process of socialism. Greece with the rise of collectivist parties is close.

There is not a Liberal or Conservative aspect to collectivism. Only national socialist as we see no in China and one world collectivism as Europe and Chaz. Of course one thin any collective will not tolerate is a rival collective.

As for heavy oil we do not 'need' it. Rather our refineries were setup to use it due to general acceptance of the Progressive flat earth forecast based on now fully discredited Peak Oil delusion.

One refinery in middle America is undergoing significant improvement to handle light feedstocks.

Of course the solution would be to get Obama boot off the neck of refineries by ending corn ethanol corruption and be honest in permitting rather than imposing Progressive religion under the false label of policy. Of yea get rid of the completely insane and dishonest local gasoline blends which serve only progressive ambitions to impose their religion upon the people.

    • The US still needs the heavy crude. Venezuela can be replaced by Canadian oils sands oil when and if the XL pipeline is built.
