Short interest is almost 6%.
Is a short squeeze coming that could bump the stock?
I imagine short sellers are getting nervous and may want to cut their loses.
Also, ex-div date is coming soon, should cause some upward momentum.
Am I being naive? It seems a good time to invest heavily.
I have some long, but might pull the trigger for a lot more.
When short interest goes down below 3%, I can take some profits and reinvest somewhere else.
Also, Berry acquisition should give a bump as well, due to increased dividends.
Will the shorts go all-in and continue to sell, or cut their losses and move on to another target?
I just don't see any fundamental changes that caused the 4% drop today other than short selling.
And that cannot go on forever, soon there will be a short squeeze and these guys will be losing money.
