That wasn't what I meant, however yes there have been GPs who have waived the IDR payments as well as distributions on the subordinate units when the LP was tight in their finances. I could name several.
you'll need to keep an eye on remediation expenses on the s.e. new mexico sandridge acquisitions. those are some nasty stripper well leases. btw, I ditched out on whiting in the $20s, and lost track of it. I noticed that it finally collapsed. I never really posted much on the mlp boards. I normally just read and learn. I always felt like you did your DD about as well as any one. feel like I owe you one. keep an eye on the n.m. clean up cost. they may be ongoing for a while. can't help you any on berry. never had any dealings with them. best of luck
What are you going on about? Whiting is $48 a share. The small amount of acreage Linn has in NM is pittance compared to what else they own. They don't hardly mention it in their reports. If there were any significant environmental costs that affected the bottom line, they would have to disclose it - and so far there isn't any mention of it.
