Not sure if LINE unitholders will get it since it is LNCO that is the acquirer. Yes, I know LNCO = LINE but not sure whether the brokerage computers know that. Usually I get emails from proxyvote or some such place with instructions for voting online. Nothing so far, maybe because I own LINE and not LNCO.
All three companies will get notice since none of them have even had their annual meeting yet.
Linn unitholders will vote on the BOD; ratification of KPMG as the auditor for 2013; issuance of additional Linn units to Linnco for the merger; amendments to the Long Term Incentive Proposal (LTIP); and adjournment of the meeting.
It could get sticky if something should happen where the merger is delayed until 2014 and no annual meetings for either Berry or Linn are held in the interim.
