I have a question to pose to the board, and I would ask that everyone not be PRO-dhb, but use their heads. Do you think with this rotation of troops that they will need even more vests? Or do you think that the exiting soldiers will leave the vest that they were issued for the incoming soldiers. My personal opinion is that the new soldiers will get new vests. I just can't forsee coming into a war and having to wear someone else's vest. That's a possible extra 100,000 new vests. Who knows, maybe the governement included this 100k figure into the new 300mil on the 87bil...
Those in Afghanistan and Iraq would not consider anyone so close to Waikiki a be in a forward deployed location.
Sure, the old vests may make you look protected but make sure you read the fine print (warranty).
Everyone knows where the new vests are going... and many, many are needed.
Troops rotating out of Iraq and Afganistan will undoubtedly leave their vests for replacements untill all replacements have interceptors. But I'm sure they will move to new vests for everyone as soon as they are avalable. That means lots more vests until we are out of Iraq and Afganistan. Also the new Iraqi army will need them and anyone else that gets deployed there to keep the pease. DHB is in the catbird seat.
Frommarket stand of point, money is rotating to less fairly valued growth stocks like DHB due to the over extended valuation in high-tech stocks.
DHB has good growth rate, undiscovered, and huge potential to the upside revenues.
In the future, the vests will be "Standard Issue", the DOD is slow; but not that slow. Every solder in the service will eventually be issued a vest along with all their other feild gear. When a division is called into battle, they will not want to figure out who gets whose vest, it would be like passing old boots around.
Had the same exact thought when I read that article.
From my experience in the military they would make every attempt to issue new vests. If they couldn't then I'm sure they would rotate and share the vests.
