The only reason this stock is where it is today is mgmgt credibility. If they can pull off a great cc and show that record rev can hit the bottom line wall st will gladily bid the price up to 15. This CC is really a do or die for this company and it's instituitional support. Did you know the CFO is in her mid 30's? That make me nervious.
excellent. . . boy, these guys (and gal) have to be in great shape, all that "exercising". . . BTW, doesn't it seem the p.r.'s gotten much better this past quarter?. . . like, maybe they hired someone who will help them with their cc?. . . just a thought. . .
exactly, wallstreet falls for fluff as much as anything. Great results with poor presentation will give result less impressive than great results and great presentation.
That may be illogical, but we all know that investing is often based on emotional responses at least in short term reactions.
In any case....lets just blow the numbers away and let sandra say...as far as the eye can see it should continue, and dawn say we have implemented some accounting controls as recommended, and brooks will say, man it is good to be king. Or sumpin like that.
that is possible. All signs point to at least 14 that I can see. And I agree with you, it is a very important conference call.
I hope they know their numbers backwards and forwards this time. They should not be surprised by questions like...if you back out legal costs what would your earnings be? If you back out costs associated with start up of the new plant what would your earnings be.
Those are the type of basic questions asked on every call.. The CFO should be all over it.
I agree Brice. I was embarrassed for them last cc (espicialyy the CFO who left mid way through or was that her serigate?). I have never listened to a cc that was so unprofessional in all of my 12 years at this
