Not bashing management or the stock -- unlike certain farm species.
But really, ownership just got more concentrated. 1/6 of stock repurchased. As an owner, this is good. Less mouths to feed with the profits.
But I wonder, if Barette and company aren't growing this company, what motivates them about managing this company?
Not complaining ... just thinking out loud. And trying to find a time to sell shares I have owned since IPO.
Thanks for your thoughts. I can see where you feel this company has peaked. That is why I asked the question. If they are sitting on the cash, what is there to do with it?
I guess what I'm getting at, does White Mountain become a nice little hobby farm for Ray Barette and all? I don't see where anyone in management is a young Warren Buffett. So, in what would they invest the cash?
There might not be an answer. I am holding what I have, and sell snall lots into a rising market. But that is more about diversification than profit taking.
