also, the common stock equity is 15 million dollars. so the book value of 21 dollars a share means little to me. GM cars to me are great, but the way these companies sell billions of shares to the public and still blow it, show that the name of their game is live off of your money. but gm cars overall have been nice. we have had foreign and gm. i just tried a hyundai, but the car has nice style but light duty, aka overall cheap. i had a 2000 impala and it was a tough nice car. you get more for the same money with gm. the gm 3800 engine is supreme. i am thinking about a Honda Clarity, as it is hydrogen only and available soon here.
Question. Will the limited availability for fueling the Honda Clairty affect your use of the vehicle? Simply look carefully at your driving needs. Obviously, this will not necessarily be an out-of-town trip vehicle.
My 2002 GM Monte Carlo SS has a 3.8 engine, 4 sp auto, 100,000+ miles, oil change regularly and it has consistently gotten between 32 and 38 mpg down the interstate. Now what is wrong with GM's super engineers given 10 of advanced study that they have not improved mpg. They have 6+ sp transmissions, CV Transmissions and who knows what else and they can only boast of about 31 mpg. Something bad rotten.
