    GM China sales

Factories built with china money. Cars built with china non UAW labor. Profits all go to China. GM USA gets a few dollars for each china car made. GM wont even tell stockholders how low it is. Only insiders know and they wont tell!

    Sentiment: Strong Sell

    • " GM USA gets a few dollars for each china car made. GM wont even tell stockholders how low it is. Only insiders know and they wont tell!"

Iffy, if you're going to post on a stock message board, you really should learn to read annual reports, otherwise, you just look like an idiot. In GM's 2011 annual report they said they made $2.26 billion EBIT on $20.56 billion in sales in GMIO which is almost all China.

See how easy it is? And I'm not a GM insider, never even worked there. I'm what you might call an investor, not in GM, but to be a successful investor you probably should be able to find some of these facts on your own. Then again, I doubt you have two dimes to rub together so it doesn't matter.

    • why when i read your post i think of the hurricane winds blowing outside?

    • Still some analysts see GM as a promising stock buy. Jonas has a 12-month price target of $44 per share, almost 90 percent higher than Friday's closing price of $23.28. Stock markets were not open Monday due to Hurricane Sandy. Many investors and sell-side analysts see untapped potential for GM and its $27 billion cash stockpile that has been overlooked by the market, Jonas wrote.

He also wrote that due to tax write-offs from years of losses, GM probably won't pay taxes to the U.S. government until 2018.

WHY IT MATTERS: GM, although smaller than before its trip through bankruptcy court, still employs 210,000 people worldwide including 79,000 in the U.S. Its car sales are a major component of the U.S. economy.

      Sentiment: Strong Buy
