ATS 3.6 victorious over bmw 330i and mb 350 (motor trend)!! Nice!
There it is, impartially delivered, in video! Happened to catch it this morning via Motor Trend and you tube. Tough for mb and bmw to look down your nose at something above you, yes?? Does GM make the perfect car over all segments? Nah. Are they, absolutely, kicking tail in multiple segments? Yes....with a bullet! Oh, Lexus and Infiniti......not even in the discussion.
Anyone for another toyo recall tabulation....just for fun???? The Germans and Japanese are our friends and always will be. Am I tired of their mercantilist, export driven economies?? YES!!!!! Happy Holidays all! God Bless.
When you spend 50+k for a car you want it to look rich. There is nothing rich looking at todays Cadillac. Might as well by a cheap Chevrolet, Dodge or Ford. The KIA at less than half price of a Cadillac looks richer.
I'd wondered when the ATS 3.6 would hit in a road test. It's the real deal and hot as a firecracker. All we'd seen to date were tests using the ATS 2.0 turbo 6 speed manual - of which in reality not so many will actually be sold. My dealer has both a ATS 2.0 turbo 6 speed automatic and ATS 3.6 in stock both completely loaded and within a very tight sticker price range. Even the EPA ratings are very close. Why go with the smaller engine? They're really pushing the base engine premium version with a nice lease deal.
I googled and found the Motor Trend article. The author didn't like CUE. My best friend owns a new XTS and used the video tutorial at his dealer to understand the system prior to taking delivery. He's 84 and seems fine with CUE. I drove his XTS and found it very comfortable and I like CUE. The rearview camera is excellent.
BMW's are just plain too much money for the car. And the Mercedes C Class is too small.
