Hey STUPID ! Corvettes are built in Kentucky and if I'm not mistaken that's in North America. Volts are built in Detroit and Silverados are now built in Flint . Both cities are in North America.
Iffydog is an IDIOT !
Here are some facts, I know we don't much care for facts on this board, but bear with me.
2012 Thru October:
U.S. made vehicles 1,710,789
U.S. sold vehicles 2,163,479
What some are confused about is that 7 of 10 cars made by GM are made outside of the U.S. If anyone is having trouble understanding the difference, you might want someone to translate this into your first language.
I wanted a Buick, but the price was way too high. I bought a foreign car just a little over half of what the Buick cost. I see that it is very comparable to the Buick. 40k vs 20k
And I go back to the time when Buick advertised; 'When better cars are built, Buick will build them'.
So he bought a $70,000 Toyota. Instead of a Great $40,000 Buick.
The Toyota was the Platinum edition, all the door panels were ripped off, the head-liner torn to pieces, all headrests, the leather seats, the dash shredded.
The steering column was twisted Sideways. Two of the six airbags went off, the other four the bear ripped to pieces. Fish and wildlife officers have inspected the damage and figure it was a 3 year old Grizzly.
The vehicle has been written off by the insurance company.
The cost of this fully optioned vehicle new was over $70,000, and they stopped count-ing the repair costs at $60,000 plus.
The head mechanic at Calgary Toyota doubted if they had the expertise to put this vehicle back together, even if they had enough parts to do it. And, to add insult to injury, the bear took a big Dump in the back of the SUV . . . and then broke out the rear window.
