    • Of course no democrats have ever dodged the draft or failed to serve. Clinton and Obama will vouch for all of them

    • As an old veteran, I am thrilled that the U.S. no longer drafts kids. It is a sin to draft a kid to go to a war that we have no business being in and no interest in winning it. Since the end of WW II, the U. S. should not have been committed to any of the conflicts idiots put us in.
I do still have one big gripe about our gov't, they have passed laws that you are not considered an adult until you are 21, but you can be a soldier at 17 and taught to kill people ,but not old enough to drink a can of beer. Idiotic to me.

      • My gripe is also with the American corporations. They very seldom hire young veterans. My nephew volunteered and spent 8 years in the Army with tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. He decided to get out after 8 years when he turned 29. Had the hardest time finding a job. Said most of the interviewers looked at him like he was some sort of killer. After several rejections he finally got the job he wanted and loves it.

    • can't wait to see the highlights on the daily show....
