I have a Volt. I drive about 40 miles a day to and from work. On weekends we use the car around town. The truth is in 8 months I have only put gas in it one time. My wife wants one now and where she works they are installing charging stations.
Just think if BO really wanted ECs to swamp the streets, all he had to do was use a bunch of the stymulus money and had a MSRP for the VOLT at about 12K and they would have sold millions and created a zillion new jobs. Poor thinking from the WH.
Edsel sales in 58 were 63,110 units and outsold DeSoto, Studebaker, Lincoln, Imperial, Metropolitan and Packard.
In 59 they sold 44,891 units and in 60, they sold 3,008 units.
Now a nice 58 Edsel Convertible could bring 50K....
