Wake up Americans. e don't need trading partners that cheat.
Every one yen drop against the U.S. dollar boosts Toyota’s (NYSE:TM) operating profit by $391 million dollars, reports Bloomberg. That bottom-line bump allows them to offer buyer incentives at a tremendous advantage to its American auto counterparts — a.k.a the Detroit Three. With that in mind, the value of the yen has fallen tremendously over the past few months, with the dollar trading for 76.05 yen in July, and 90 yen in January.
Well if you analyze well the situation...Its about 2 or 3 years already that every country in the world is trying to manipulate whatever they can to weak its own currency. it's a currency war!
Americans, China, the Europeans, Japanese, Brazilians, Australians, etc...All of them know that to go thru this global crisis they need a weak currency to boost their own economy...The Fed and the Government is waiting every time to the last minute available on every resolution...Europe is doing exactly the same, provoking the weakening of Dollar and Euro, and when Japanese view this, their central bank act to weaken the Yen and everybody is following suit
Sure it our fault as comsumer to let it happen, I hate no one but I won't buy a Japanese, Korean or a German vehicle..
"You keep blaming other countries knowing dam well that it's our country that's at fault for letting this happen."
