If they can only see 30,000 volts the 3RD year running How many caddy volts will they sell. A whole factory for outdated batteries. the new caddy will go a whole 38 miles before the engine kicks in. Wow a whole factory for maybe 35,000 cars. Lots of card games going on. Do you have any jacks (no) well go fish!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The EC's day is coming, but not before there is a big break through in the storage battery. At present they all use the lithium battery. It has proven to be a failure. The VOLT has had fire problems; small hand held appliances have had problems, Boeing 787 has had problems. In every case the 'lithium battery' has spondaneously caught on fire.
Along with the fire problem, the battery does not store enough energy. A full charge on huge batteries that only drive the car for 38 miles IS NOT enough to justify buying an EC at this time.
Toyota says it is recalling 7.43 million vehicles globally, including in the U.S., Japan and Europe, for a faulty power-window switch that might stop working in more than a dozen models produced from 2005 through 2010.
Toyota said Wednesday that the switch on the driver's side didn't have grease applied evenly during production, causing friction and sometimes smoke.
