    Held GM for a year.

GM has been dead money for me got out late last week. While the future may be bright for GM the immediate future is cloudy, Europe hangs over their heads, costs are too high, selling record number of vehicles with no margin is a recipe for disaster, and no divedend. May come back to this later.

My advice to you sir is RUN! I worked alongside with GM and it has never improved since 1998. Yeah you rode the ride of the geat GM surviving. It never improved. In two months I expect this stock to crash again.

I consider that an excellent plan. It MIGHT be a good stock someday. Right now, I think the risks of these 3 factors makes this too risky.
      1) European losses
      2) Inventory glut writeoffs
      3) Govt selling price impact

Considering they had $37B in cash at Dec 2009, it's horrible how far it has fallen, imo..

Keep in mind the stock buyback meant the GM balance sheet just took a $5 billion hit to cash since Sep 2012.
