It's actually the medical trust that owns the shares. However the company, as you imply, is still infested with UAWs -- in my opinion, a parasitic entity that will forever compete with shareholders for any spare nutrients from the host organism.
I have no problem with unions actions in the best interest of unions. That is what a union is supposed to do. I have a major problem with unions when gov't is involved with improving union interests. Get gov't out of unions and get business out of gov't.
The gov't prevented GM from becoming vacant space and the union membership from standing in unemployment lines. GM is now run by gov't and unions, not a good combination but better than the alternative.
