    • Let's go back to 1950. Since then gov't has been raising the price of labor with the MW. Unions have been raising the price of labor with strikes. What do these two entities cause? They cause a great reduction in labor.
The place I see this the best is in the mfg of autos and the coal industry. Think back, way back. I remember when the assembly line had hundreds of welders; I remember when the paint shop had hundreds of painters. What happened? As the price of labor went up mfgs found it cheaper to replace humans with robots. The same thing happened in the coal industry. As the price of labor went up with each strike for higher wages, the company replace humans with machinery. Today a machine mines the coal of 500 hand loaders.
Think about what we ask for.

    • Bring back the Studebaker.

      Sentiment: Hold

    • I had 2 Saturns and almost bought a 3rd - an Aura. The interior color choices were awful IMO and the trim inside was tragically misaligned. Considered Honda, bought a Toyota. Best car I've ever owned. Not one problem. Can't say that about the Saturns. I will never consider a Welfare Motors car. Next car - BRZ. Screw gm, screw Duhtroit, screw the classless welfare motors employees.

      Duhtroit!

Let me see if I understand you correctly----you ridicule the vehicle, and yet you buy not one but two Saturns and consider buying a third? And, to top it off, you are NOW complaining about something such as interior colors and misaligned trims that were OBVIOUS from the start?

Well, aren't you the world's # 1 Dumbo or what?

And, you think you're qualified to critique GM?

Grow up, boy, and learn to take responsibility like a man.

      • Not one problem?

I'd consider any car that had FIVE SEPARATE RECALLS, a problem.

I can't remember any GM vehicle that had five recalls.

You say you came here for advice, and yet you bought a Camry, a vehicle that has been derided by all automotive magazines. The panel fit in the 2007 model was horrendous.

Blue, this is a financial board, yet you have never disclosed any financial interest in either GM or TM. Could it be possible that you in fact, have no financial assets whatsoever. I hold GM common in two different accounts, and no, I did not purchase at the IPO, but in the lower 20's.

It appears you are just a message board troll, and as such, you are fair game for the public ridicule you so desperately crave. Many here are more than happy to grant your wish, as you are such an easy target.

Hey Moron : Toyota is a welfare ride in case no one has ever told you and GM paid back America in 2010 , unlike Toyota which has yet to pay back one penny of their tax breaks.

Did you not like the turd brown leather with red piping?
