GM said it is recalling 843, 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra crew cabs in the U.S. to replace the passenger air bag that might not fully inflate in a crash. Less than 1 percent of the affected air bags in the recall may have this condition. The recall also includes 68 trucks in Canada and eight in Mexico.
General Motors on July 4 will kick off its biggest launch of the last six-plus years, with the debut of the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado. The campaign breaks in Texas, where one in six U.S. pickup trucks are sold, and features actual Chevy owners.
