    • i bought a NICE Black 69 Mach I, M-code 351W, 4 speed car in 1989 for 4200 bucks. i also picked up a BEAUTIFUL Red 69 Mach 1, S-code 390, 4 speed car in 1993 for 5200 bucks and gave it to my Son for his high school graduation . He still has his, while i moved on to some Pontiac Trans Ams. Besides the Mustangs and the GT40 ( in my humble opinion, the most beautiful car ever made), what the heck has ford built that's worth buying??

      • The red 69 was parked on the front row of Compact Car Korner for a week before i stopped in to take a look at it. At that time the lot was across the street from where it is now. The owner asked me if i wanted to take it out. "Yea, but i was just wondering why it was on the lot so long??" At that time he was mostly interested in GM stuff. i took it out and was pleasantly surprised. With the 390, it didn't handle quite as good as the lighter 351, but it was a sweet car. The owner asked me if i wanted it and i replied that i was just kind of looking. He asked me if i had 200 bucks in my pocket and i just happened to have it, so we financed the rest and i think i paid it off in three months. i always thank GOD for nice gifts and try to repay HIM as best i can....

    • Thanks for the laugh. The new Escape has already had about seven recalls which cost the Ford shareholders about 300 million $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

    • only missed by 1000 cars lat month. Buy a ford and be happy
