    • Driving now?? A white 77 Trans Am and it is a sweetheart.
      Driving soon??
A 27 Pontiac 2-dr sedan, chopped top, IFS street rod. 350 engine, 400 turbo trans and a 9" Ford rear end.
79 Trans Am with T tops.

      Project GM's??
      77 & 79 factory black Z28 Camaro 4-speed cars.

      High school cars??
      A burgundy 53 Chev 4-dr. lowered custom.
A white with a red spear 55 Chev 2-dr post. 3 speed on the floor and tri-power. A strong running 301 engine and jacked up in the front. The engine wouldn't turn over, so i stole it for 150 bucks and all it needed was a head gasket on one side. It was tough looking car.
A nice 54 Olds 2-dr hardtop and traded it for a lt. blue/white 56 Chev 2-dr post, 265 with a 3 speed on the column. Cool kids didn't drive an Olds in our town.

      After high school??
      A nice white 65 Chev 2-dr hardtop.
A 69 Chevelle wagon and gave it to the wife to drive.
A 33 Buick 3- window coupe. i replaced the rotted wood floor with 16 gauge steel, Chopped the top and suicided the doors. 33 parts are very hard to find, but i picked up a NICE grille through Hemmings for 250 bucks.
A 57 harbor blue rolling shell Convertible.
GM ruled the world in the 50's and into the 60's....

    • Not me!

    • no one in my family woulddrive GM cars- especiaallynow that we know gm WOULD RATHER KILL AMERICAnsw thean face monetary damages. GM should be outlawed and never be allowed to make cars anymore for am,ericans --let them sell their cars in ;china

    • I drove two buicks and now Cadilac.I was happy with them. I added GM to my position on Friday and expect a 50% gain this year. I expect that it will earn me a free Cadilac): It will outperform the market based on few top analysts prediction, seasonal trade and car shopping are the tail wind. I will contribute my due back to GM. It is a much smaller, leaner co. now with the union baggage off, the new models are attractive. I was surprise that Buick Encore is made in Korean, the profit should rise by leveraging global manufacturing base. 7 P/E means 13% return without growth. Since the cars in North America is 11-12 old, the refresh cycle will lift this stock for sure. You can skip lunch but not skipping buying a car in US, Rising sale in Feb . in Canada is just a prelude to the strong season. It should grow at 15% click for next few years and command a 15 P/E.

      Sentiment: Strong Buy

    • The CEO just received a huge pay increase, don't think he was driving a GM car before, and now can afford to buy another expensive model now, those poor CEO and his cronies work so hard to make profits for THEMSELVES, wish they would think of the lowly stockholders their deserved dues, instead of lowering the divy a "twitch" each quarter, of course the stockholder is not smart enough to relieze this.

      Sentiment: Buy

    • I don't own one but I've seen many in repair shops.

    • Own a 2003 Honda Accord. Three years ago a lighting strike a mile away caused my entire electrical system to get burned out (GPS out, 5 idiot lights went on, radio and CD player went). Honda dealership wanted $6000 to fix it. No way! It's resale value is probably nil. My next car will be a Chevy Cruze. My experience showed me all new cars are now very vulnerable to strong electromagnetic pulses such as lightning. That worries me a little.

    • I'm still driving my Y2K Pont Trans Am. I have a good mechanic who doesn't charge me an arm and a leg for repairs, so I'm doing OK. If you drive GM, you need to have a good mechanic. Shouldn't be that way, but it is.

    • Haven't owned an American car in probably 20 years.

    • I still drive my beautiful 2002 Monte Carlo SS and expect to drive it at least another 8 years. (Act. table says I still have 8 years) I think the SS is going to be included in the GM recall. I sold my Silverado because the back part of the frame was rusting away.
