Not feeling to optimistic about UAL right now despite the good news out of US Air. Yeah, oil is down a little today and the stock price is up a little today, but it's still just under $102.00 as of this post. And it looks like the middle east will probably get worse before it gets better.
Oil is above $102 this morning, but the economic news in general has been positive. Plus, foreign markets were up overnight. I'm gonna hang on and wait for an early bump, but once the ridiculous price of oil sets in and UAL begins to fall again... I'm cashing out completely. There are just too many other investment opportunities out there... without all the oil-based risk and volatility.
I bailed last week at 23 in part because the candlesticks are following a downward trending b-band on the weekly chart for the first time since the rise from the 3's. I've been here a long time and still believe in the 30's, but the time frame has been extended quite a bit. I may look at re-entering if price hits 20.
