new to this board - sarcasm, right?
i looked at UAL because wanted to see how Trannys are being pumped by the Fed to goose the larger averages. UAL's 2012 operating cash flow was less than in FY 2009 (according to morningstar). That's correct, right? Airlines are never a good (long) investment, but UAL is up, what 10x since 2009?
i also have had horrible experiences flying on UAL since the merger-frequent flier status became impossible, once on FF levels, perks almost non-existent. Generally poor. So I have switched carriers and not flown on UAL for about 6 mo.
