Flew the ORD-IAD flight yesterday. Great riding aircraft and the seating and view is mush more "open." One of UAL's most veteran flight crews flying this route now. I talked to the Captain after wards and he said the aircraft's electronics GPS system is better than the shuttle had. It can land withing 1' accuracy in zero visibility. And it's more fuel efficient. Next stop is the DEN-Narita route in June.
And you want to be in a plastic airplane in the middle of the pacific when the batteries give up again? You can look out those big windows and see nothing but ocean. Boeing is so in bed with the FAA. Remember they are the ones that said the airplane was safe and then two days later grounded the whole fleet.
