The article looks like cover for manipulation. Why aren't others (CREE, VECO) being hit just like RBCN? Why did the stock not drop before today? Many questions, no answers, except that the shorts have a lot to lose and they have found a way to hold RBCN down.
They gave a bogus analysis on 6" prospects in the article. On the CC they said that RBCN is increasing wafer polishing capacity in the US 20% just to meet 6" demand. Once Malaysia is qualified, polishing capacity will be debottlenecked and they will be able to expand 6" sales.
IMO, 6" will go up and 2" down in their total product mix.
Oh, and I forgot to say that when Malaysian polishing comes on stream that margins will go up too.
