    Back to July, 2009 levels.

I was breaking about even on RBCN when I dumped it at $24. But when I saw it at $15 I just had to jump on that great bargain!

All I can say is: "Oops".

    • must be a doomsday scenario...Any thoughts on buying RBCN after CREE reports? Looks like they will miss 2-4 cents and lower guidance?? RBCN could fall 8-12% further?? Thoughts, comments, rants?

    • I believe most of us are limited to "oops" as well (except for the occasional gloating short that comes on these boards). I certainly didn't have any foresight on a 70% drop from early May levels. How does a company get so overvalued that it can lose almost 70% of its value in 5+ months with no indications of a threat of bankruptcy or something like that? How does sentiment go from the LED industry having explosive growth potential to now being valued at little/no growth in such a short amount of time? I'm sure the answer lies somewhere in the's not as bad as what's currently being painted. I see LEDs everywhere already, and we apparently haven't entered the growth phase when they are massively adopted.

The adage says don't invest/risk what you can't afford to lose, and maybe it's the local Miami Dolphins wearing off on me but losing is getting easier every day...

    • nice to see someone who is down but still has humor. gripeing does not help. hope you get a bounce up by earnings. good luck.
