the guidance that zagg gives for the coming quarter and year will matter as much as the earnings from the previous quarter. zagg has been suffering from the slide in apple. what zagg needs to demonstrate is that they are not tied to apple's market share, but are tied to the overall growth in the smart phone and tablet market. zagg's p/e is ridiculously low, but it will not begin to reflect the market until they can demonstrate that they are not linked to apple's woes. overall, i think that earnings will be very solid, but that the short sellers will not give up yet, so price gains will still be halted at major resistance points and need to fight through them. what we need is a really big hedge fund to decide to burn the short sellers. if I had 50 million i would do it myself. the deeper the shorts go to defend their positions, the more they risk a true short covering rally when the price advances.
