      Quite true, but ADI has some really nice *Digital* Signal Processors (DSP's) as well!

      ADI hasn't seen these stock levels since late 1999, and for-better-or-worse I have been averaging down along with you....

      • Don't fall in love with any company, especially a company like ADI. Yes, this stock is cheaper than what it was a couple of years ago. But that doesn't mean anything. The key question is: will people need more and more analog/digital(whatever) parts in the near future?

        I doubt it!

        Yes, long term investment. But how long? 15 year? 20 years? Come on, give me a break please! That may be the only excuse that you can use to pacify yourself after you lost tons of money.
