Looks Like We're Through The Trough

Well, now I'm not so sure. You make some really strong arguments.

On the one hand, we have a 40 year ADI veteran, who for 15+ years has been the company's CEO with a well earned industry-wide reputation as a highly competent straight shooter.

On the other hand, we have a drive-by random poster with unknown credentials and perhaps an axe to grind.

It's a tough one, but I think I'll go with Jerry on this call.

    Sorry, but thanks for playing!

    • I wouldn't worry as this is one of the most loved stocks out there.
Can you imagine if INTC ever reported something like this? It would be screwed with no mercy.
After such a horrible report with such P/E multiples (past & future), it just tells you how much faith the market has in ADI.
Buy below $38 at the end of day tomorrow and it will climb back up, as always.

    • surely you jest, known as a straight shooter? who are you talking about. The CEO has no "industry reputation" other than within ADI, and in the New England area for an overpaid exec. How long do you think he would have lasted in silicon Valley?
You sound like an insider with a bias. ADI has lost mkt share for the past several yrs. buried millions of $$ in the power mgmt. You can't hide behind segmenting the mkt. measure the entire analog space, and compare share. If you are going to post, pls get your facts, opinions are ample but worthless
