U.S. banks will get the results of the Dodd-Frank Act stress test on Thursday at 4.30 p.m. Eastern time. The Federal Reserve will release results on whether 17 banks and American Express Co. AXP -0.20% have sufficient capital levels to weather extreme economic conditions. The Fed will release its response to bank capital return requests on March 14. Some banks are concerned about securities laws that require immediate disclosure of capital plans and could announce their dividend/buyback plans early, according to a report in Bloomberg.
Yeah, I saw that, and Cramer said jobs report tomorrow could add 200 to the Dow. I don't believe that, as ADT had employment numbers yesterday, so we know jobs are up. It should already be "baked" in. I am holding short, so i hope they sell the news. We need a correction.
