Danny, do you use stops, or do you just cover when you see a drop/ I almost always use stops when I'm short and up on my position, and as it drops, I lower my stop, but usually keep it 15-20 cents above current price so I give it room to drop more if it's going too. With SPWR, I usually keep a pretty tight stop. With NFLX, no......SPWR is a great short, as it almost always follows the same pattern. HOD at open or within a few minutes of open, then sell it short. I've been doing it several times a week. BBRY is the only one I do more. Almost every day, I fade the morning gap, as they always bid it up in the morning, so i go short and take my 30 cent or 50 cent or more profit. This morning, I shorted in pre-market, which is often HOD for BBRY, especially after big run like yesterday afternoon, which was basically hype on a PR about a "purchase order". A purchase order is not the same as a buy. It just means you have the right to reserve that many, with no obligation to actually buy them. Order can be cancelled or phones returned at any time. They just don't want to miss the boat if the demand is there, which we won't know until actual release. RIMM/BBRY best trading stock of all time.
Yes i do use stop loss, as i see the price drop then i lower my stop loss. I have noticed SPWR trading range 11.70 - 12.90. i should have go long SPWR this morning, and get out now so i can make .30 more on the way up
