In yesterday's trading SPNS quietly touched $6.02 per share... the highest trading level since September of 2000. Factor in the $.15 dividend paid in January and the number is even better.
Roni Al Dor took the helm at Sapiens in November of 2005 with shares trading around $1.50. For nine years he step by step built a strong leadership team and staff that shares his intense focus and work ethic. The strength of that team is an intangible that doesn't show on the balance sheet and unfortunately is invisible to most investors.
It has been a key factor driving Sapien's quiet and steady climb in revenues, profitability and share price.
In the long run strong teams win games. Roni Al Dor has built an exceptional team at Sapiens and they have much to be proud of. While micro cap tech stocks never go up in a straight line, between the insurance division and Decision I like the chances of Sapien's continuing to climb toward double digits in 2014.
Congratulations and shareholder thanks to the entire Sapiens team for achieving another "wow" milestone.
