I can tell you it is unique.
The city council gave the utility dept 60 days to
get their act together and come up with a plan or
else. You can bet your last dollar EIX isn't giving up
on Pasadena. Let's waite & see what happens. ASK all
the city council members if Edison has talked to them
privately about this matter.
Unfortunately, all the schmoozing couldn't get
the Pasadena City Council to vote against the unions.
Pasadena voted to stay with its own utility and not take
Edison up on its offer to provide contract
Anaheim had a City Council session this past Tuesday
where the unions and the utility pleaded to the City
Council not to go forward with Edision but the Council
voted to make no decision. I believe that Anaheim will
ultimately stick with its utility and not go with Edison.
Money can't buy everything.
I hear a rumor that Edison public relations mang.
staff is smoozing the city council members of
Pasadena,Glendale and Burbank and will take over their utility
departments. I hear eix is promising to help finance their
political campaigns. Pasadena will be the first to fall.
The plan is to squeeze the city council members by
throwing tons of money their way.... good ol GREED ! Works
all the time in politics. Once those cities fall, eix
will take on Beaumont,Banning, Riverside then Anaheim
! Hundreds of city workers could lose their jobs.
Looks like there is a lot ov over head selling

like the stock is going to collapse. Also remember
there is a hearing due in August reguarding their Grand
Canyon Plant which may have to be closed or restricted.
Either event would cost the company money and both
events are highly oposed by edison. Do some research,

Bryson and Muller are trying to make the big
killing but, who are they competing with? Look at the
aquisition of New Energy Ventures by AES. New Energy
Ventures LLC is made up of (ex) SCE execs that were ousted
by Bryson in the perg of the Howard Allen era. The
other partner is Unicom, whos CEO, James Pignitelli is
an (ex ) manager for SCE. The price is 90 mil. Looks
to me like Bryson has some catching up to do.
