I was being sarcastic about not being short VNX. In fact I am short 25,000 shares! Here I am admitting this at a time when the market is saying that being short VNX is very stupid.
I have one question for those buying today, though. How did the recent earnings report convince you to buy at over $3.10 per share a stock that you could have had for $2.50 per share a month ago? Did the report swing your opinion that much, or was VNX simply not under consideration as a potential buy until recently?
If the ScamMan's evasion and bull
I want to thank the ScamMan for posting here and for showing us that there is no case for being anything but short this POS company. It is his consistent inability to make anything approaching a logical point for being long VNX that has made shorting VNX so easy to do. It's rare the market offers up risk-free plays, but the ScamMan has convinced me this is one of those rare opportunities. If all he can do after studying this company so thoroughly and talking with insiders so often is to regale us with posts about "winding roads" then that's all I need to take the other side of his position.
As a sign of my gratitude for your help let me teach you a lesson for your future classes. A Ponzi Scheme is "An investment vehicle in which high profits are promised from fictitious sources and early investors are paid off with funds raised from later suckers."
Not that you need any lessons in Ponzi Schemes, or anything, but I thought I'd remind you of your strengths, i.e., helping Bobshfl make more money by plying your trade (albeit poorly) as the frontman for a Ponzi Scheme.
Thanks for your help. I hope to follow you around the Yahoo boards for my next money making idea!
Here's the current balance sheet for this company valued by the market at over $50 million:
I believe that the balance sheet is going to be such a drag on results that the current market cap will fall. You seem to disagree. You are trendy and invest based on the future. That is so cool. I am old-fashioned and invest based on musty old concepts. I am not cool.
Speaking only for myself, I have been buying this strongly ever since Mark Newburg arrived early this year. The question you pose is far too limited. And yes, I'm one of the buyers today.
