Near the end of http://biz.yahoo.com/prnews/061113/lam092.html?.v=69 appear "VENDINGDATA CORPORATION Balance Sheets." Under "Stockholders' equity" in the "September 30, 2006 (unaudited)" column appear these numbers:28,969(846,820)(3,797,006)90,684,880(80,978,249)and this total:5,491,774.I believe that the correct total is 5,091,774 and that the PR overstates stockholders' equity by four hundred thousand dollars. Perhaps the 10-Q will clear this up.
http://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1004673/000114420406047790/v057555_10qsb.htmThe 10-Q shows Sept. 30, 2006 stockholders' equity as $5,491,774. The five numbers above it add to $5,091,774. I believe that the Sept. 30, 2006 balance sheet in the 10-Q overstates stockholders' equity by four hundred thousand dollars.
What a mess! This company is really in deep trouble. Of the 30M total asset on their balance sheet, 13M is goodwill. Accumulated deficit is -91M.Why would any casino want to place orders to buy chips from this company? It might not exist next month!!
