    Just a reminder to those...

...haven't been keeping up with my scintillating posts -- Medicis paid 23 million dollars 14 YEARS ago to acquire "ravicti" -- and WHERE in the name of all that is holy did they get THAT name?!...

...in any case, in 2007, Medicis turned around and sold the rights to Hyperion for a whopping TEN million dollars...

    ...got that?...TEN million dollars...

...that's right, they though so much of the drug's blockbuster potential that they accepted a THIRTEEN million dollar LOSS on their investment...

...the funny thing is that they make buphenyl -- ravicti's competition!...

...did it cross anyone's mind that maybe medicis was getting rid of what it considered a "loser"?...

...I can't think of any other good reason to take a 13 million dollar LOSS, can you?...

...and then Hyperion goes public and NOW who owns the LOSER?...

    ...you got it!...HAW, HAW, HAW!!!!...

    Sentiment: Strong Sell

    • ...HAW!!!...old "fields59" tells me has "stated his position and now time will tell"!...

...in other words, when you're losing an argument, GO TO GROUND!!!...HAW!!!...

      ...dig, son!...DIG!!!...HAW!!!...

...I bet he got to wondering what Hyperion did between 2007 -- when they bought the rights to "ravicti" for all of TEN million dollars -- and the IPO where they turned around and sold it for 150 million dollars...

...I mean that's value added to to tune of 140 million dollars!...nice profit if you can get it, huh?...HAW!!!...

...of course, as "fields59" pointed out, company management did say they expect almost $300,000 per patient per year in revenue...

...that works out to a potential up around 600 million bucks a year!...

...which then brings up the question of why did management consented to sell it to the public for 150 million?...

...why, that's practically giving away the goose just about the time it's gonna start laying golden eggs!...

...I suppose one might consider the possibility that management is of the altruistic species who out of sheer generosity decided to share their riches with the public at large -- or NOT!!!...HAW!!!...

...for the public, I suspect they're going to be gettin' a "goose" of a different kind -- if you catch my drift!...

      ...HAW, HAW, HAW!!!!...

      Sentiment: Strong Sell
