BIOD has recieved FDA response! Read-
Have not posted in a while after board marks went from one every hour to one every minute and the bashers moved in. Those of you who know me (and my true identity) this information is important. After talking with the wonderful Ashmar again I can tell you that biodel has recieved the respose from the FDA and have 3 business days to release the information. Even she does not know what it is but a board meeting was conveined late at 5pm ET today. Seeing how nothing has been released yet this is good news. I expect a positive outcome to be released pre-market and an unfavorable response to be released ah. I couldn't weasel much out of her but we both agreed that a surprise release before the pdufa would be the most profitable for shareholders and roast shorts most. Now, 3 days I am not sure if those are business days and could take us to Monday or not. We will see. My advice is to buy shares and puts to protect them. Short interest is at epic highs and could send us above $25 instantly. As I have stated before, ashmar has told me that a partnership will be announced within a week of approval for type 1/2 or both as details have already been hashed out and non-disclosure agreements have been signed. She could not reveal the suitor/partner but they are a major player. Stay tuned.

My understanding is that, the company has to disclose the news before next trading day. Please correct me if i'm wrong.

These things usually leak out. Looks as though there is heavy activity in the Nov. $2 - $3 puts, not what one might expect from a good news leak; never know for sure though. At least not long to know now though.

Like I said it is just something that crossed my mind, but the last 3 companies that have not fully disclosed what was in the 74 day letter got no-votes or a CRL. They are ARNA, VVUS, and AMLN, if you review their filings they are very vague on what the FDA has noted. Just something to think of. Usually analysts will prod at the company on the conference calls, but my review of the conference calls shows that none did. If I am wrong simply let me know, I also encourage investors to prod management for this info, because it is a direct indicator as to how the NDA review is going. please remember to click some ads to help support the site. An example of a company citing a no issue situation can be found here. In my experience, companies with no issues or deficiencies are quick to put out a PR stating that the FDA found none because they know it enhances the chances of an approval of the application.

I didn't see the article. When did they receive this 73 day letter? Was it prior to the execs setting up their own stock deal and taking less salary? If so, I could see why they didn't let out any good news... Just a thought...??
