The p-value for the efficacy hurdle was 0.705.............
if you don't know WHY that is SO bad, you should not be investing in biotech/pharma in the first place. The stock tanked PROFOUNDLY off that news precisely because approval at this time is nearly impossible.
That of course precludes any American sales. And that's before you factor in the major hurdle of the obscene cost of the therapy and the company's inability to partner or self-market. Can they even manufacture the item in quantity??????
Decades in this sector and I still can't believe how IMMORTAL is the mindless loyalty to patently failed investments.
You guys who think there's BILLIONS imminent in a product development so obviously - so multifariously -distressed still beggar belief. God help you all.
How many of you have borrowed in order to follow this get-rich-quick scheme of yours?? (That would include dipping into HELOCs, etc and.or forgoing other debt draw down.)
Failed EMPOWER, too. The ENABLE study had no FDA endpoints to fail on really, but was forced to admit the EWL seen did not cause any mitigation of diabetes like they were telling everyone it would. Yes, a failure in its own right.....
Doubt all you want. After having advised and held the hands of numerous lay investors for years as they got creamed listening to all these pump-happy know-nothings and/o liars, I just can't stand to see them undo yet another wave of naifs.
I can imagine people like them couldn't understand a concern, a mindset like mine on these matters. One just gainsays the ridiculous #$%$ and hopes it enlightens some.
Just 'cause you wouldn't attempt a good turn hardly means another wouldn't.
And as I told others before, I only trade with MerrillLynch, essentially because it's linked to my BAC account. They don't allow retailers to short below $6.00. I don't engage in shorting - last time was more than a decade ago. There's better risk/gain calculus staying long.
Sorry, boys, that "p=0.705" is straight from the company press releases on their website. Check yourself - it's .705 wherever they mention it.
Besides, if you knew much about p-values, you'd know that "p=.0705" was im mediately suspect as p-values are never expressed with a fourth decimal place. You should have done a double-take and realized you misread it. .0705 would not misprint as .705 as it would never be expressed correctly as such in the first place. The only exception is the rare case of p=.0001 Even then, should it get that low, it is still more often expressed as "p
What are you trying to achieve here?. You have been negative for the past few days.
Please let it go. Let us talk about something else. You must have too much time in your hands and bored. I am getting sick of you boy.
Be calm and let those who wish to invest their money allowed to do so. Keep your money in the bank.
I hope we don't read your messy lines anymore. I hope you are very wrong and we will laugh last.

Actually this basher doesn't really profile very much like one except for thinking the stock is in big trouble. He or she bothers to get data and make arguments. Doesn't start ugly stuff either, just finishes it. You are no less full of it.
did you miss state the number as 0.75 to try to support your short. I believe it was .0705. Big difference there. Also the FDA is looking into the great performance in the sham group which is why the study did not make a much better P value. May be an effect of just having the charger on you for 30 min a day.

No dice, Jivey Offalburger.
"p=0.705" is straight from multiple ETRM documents. Go check anywhere the company mentions it on their website. Besides, a fourth decimal place (as you remember it) is never availed of in these numberings. Only rarely might you see "p=.0001" if it were that low. Even then it often just says "p
Let US see how smart YOU and show us you can READ. The p-value is indeed, and always has been: point-705 ie, .705.
Which is HORRENDOUS 'proof' of anything at all!!
.705 -- Just GO and CHECK the multiple company PRs stating exactly that.
Big words, missing commas.... Give yourself pause and realize how wrong you are. Weight loss with vblok was easy and safe.
