Not at these levels. If it hits 4 again in the next few months then I will buy. And of course this is very likely given the unelected eurocrat fiasco. No way am I buying a stock that is not within 5-10% of its 52 week low.
Ya, you would hate to buy CMG or AAPL, wouldn't you? These growth stocks are a pain........so overvalued. We should value them based on their price in the last year or so and not look forward to their growth in revs and earnings. :-)
Give him a break pensive. AXTI right now is not a growth play, its earnings are contracting for at least another 3 quarters. What AXTI is right now is a value play but that also will become questionable as trailing earnings keep contracting.
So for the next few quarters the upside is somewhat limited, I believe. Come July that might change as the chart should also have improved by then. We still have to play with a declining 200 dma and trading below that level. I hope we break above sometime before Q2 earnings and then get solid guidance for Q3 to take the stock back to a growth mode. However, that might not happen till Q3 if the summer sees some economic induced turbulence.
